Hi Roman,

Welcome to Model Ship World.  It's nice to see a new member from the Pacific Northwest.  This is a wonderful site with many knowledgeable, helpful and friendly modelers.  I've learned a lot from many of the members here such as our recent thread on how to use a table of offsets and drawing your own plans.  Welcome Aboard!!

Welcome aboard. This is a great place to get help and on your journey into ship modeling. Two things I would suggest that will help you succeed:

1) Start simple - pick a relatively simple model to start with.

2) Start a build log - I cannot articulate how much help and advice I have gotten through people commenting on my build log.

All the best.
