I'm glad you've got it sorted Jack, do get some Cedar from Chuck, as it is lovely wood to work with and was a reasonable price even adding delivery and VAT. Of course it will be better value for you as you wont pay import taxes 😉 Seems like a rare thing happened as on Sunday we got 5-7 inches of snow that almost lasted till Tuesday morning😂

Thanks Denis, of course I'll put some more pictures up when I've finished😉 Looking at the decals, there are three numbers :421 :309 and :223. After trawling google, I've come up with a panzer division; Lehr Panzer, 5th army centred around Caen during overlord and mentions of Bastogne in the Ardennes, but this is where I've drawn a blank as I can't find any Panthers with these numbers present, if anyone can help out I'd be grateful, if not I shall purchase an alternative decal sheet. The 251 and pak40 will be in the same Lehr regiment. I've added a link to info. Cheers. Downloadhttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SS_Pz_Lehr_divisional_insignia.svg

The tracks and front wheels are not glued so will be removed when I do the camouflage! Cheers -
Started this one while sitting waiting for glue to cure on my other builds, ship and non-ship. I only have the small details to glue on and cement top part to the hull and then paint. the next photos show the pak40 AT gun, that until I can get hold of a sdkfz11 will be towed by this. Thanks for looking in. Cheers

FINISHED - Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon - Tamiya - 1:12 Scale
Edwardkenway replied to CDW's topic in Non-ship/categorised builds
If you get your channel up and running I'll be sure to tune in and subscribe 😉 The green really pops, beautiful colour, very Kawasaki! -
Hi Justin, I chose this Triton cross section as my initiation into scratch building, although I did not invest in power tools until after I built it. A coping saw was my method of cutting the frames, quite a laborious but somewhat relaxing job once I got into a rhythm. I'll be following along, good luck and have fun. As Chad has already said, you've made a good start. Cheers

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
