  1. Looking fine Glenn, the deck is going to be great with the slight curve and tapered planking. Very nice, and very neat workmanship 😁
  2. I found that Homebase stocks the Ronseal poly varnish, in gloss, satin and matt, Wickes also do a satin poly varnish but only in 2.5ltr tins.
  3. You've taken to this stone masons life like a duck to water Kevin, your church looks really good, archetypal of hundreds across England. Very nice work😁
  4. Oh yes! on a nice crusty roll. Or currywurst mit mayo, alles zehr gut, ja! I ate well over there when visiting my brother in law!😋
  5. I thought I could smell hot dogs😋 I'm in! Gonna be a looker in the RN black OC 🙂 Some of the German frikadella would also be good on a grill😁
  6. Superb modelling Craig, very nice indeed. Have you considered doing a WTC , BTTC or DTM car?
  7. I try and get to at least two BTTC races each season, mainly Donington Park, season opener and mid season at Oulton Park.
  8. I can understand your decision, when instructions baffle instead of helping it's time to move on. To steal a motto from UK tv, "when the fun stops, stop!"
  9. Ah! but now they have huge screens following the action on the parts you can't see, well over here in the UK anyway, but I would of thought the US does as well.
  10. The photos show a pretty impressive melee dio even without the farm buildings 👏 Some very nice work OC, cant wait to see the finale😁
  11. Small update, many thanks to Glenn, for allowing me to shamelessly borrow his remodeled bowsprit bits on his amazing Lady Nelson. sorry about the photo quality, I probably need to turn the flash off. thanks for the likes and comments, till next time, Cheers
  12. Good to see you back Phil, Hannah is looking great, I'm loving all the details and extras you're doing 😁
  13. We're not allowed to lay bricks 3°c and under. Makes for workshop time😁 My son-in-law is a painter and decorator and tries to keep inside work for poor weather.
  14. In one naval/seafaring novel I've read the smugglers kept one or two long guns on deck as chase guns probably 6 or 9 pdrs to try and disable the chasing revenue or RN vessel, but otherwise I would think a few swivels would be adequate to give a smuggler a bit of firepower. My twopence worth🙂
  15. Echoing the build request, it would be interesting to see your steam cutter.
  16. That approaches sacrilege, but whomever owns it will have riches enough not to care, I know if I had one I'd be scared to take it on the road in case I got it dirty 😃
  17. Very nice painting OC, are you using a uniform guide for the colour differences between regiments?
  18. Thanks Kevin, I'm a bricklayer and as such don't/can't/won't work in the rain. Delete as appropriate 😂
