I'll have to check those out! I used to used gyproc plaster for roads and run a couple of wheels through it before it set, but reading how you did your road with tissue sound easier.

After a therapeutic break putting some planking on Triton I'm back to the wheels with renewed vigour. 

Finished all of them and glued them on. Put the turret together and made up the main weapon! Turret just dry placed. There is a lot of details to put on the bodywork and lots of equipment and then the crew.

And I thought this was going be quick and easygoing 😆

Looks good! As Mark has mentioned Old Collingwood has a build log of a kit bash Black Pearl, a lot of his photos show the details. 

You would also get plenty of advice and helpful suggestions if you opened a build log of your Black Pearl. 

Nice subject, makes a change for someone to paint the smaller working ships  instead of the famous and well known. I especially like this one as my dad served on a bar boat.

So as a break from cutting wheels out for my card Sherman I've come back to the shipyard and done a few strakes on Triton 

I only have three and a half more to do and then its sanding and mark the waterline.

Looking like a busy productive shipyard 😏 note my adjustable height table (admiral's ironing board 😆) I don't know why I never thought to use it before!
