This was a pleasure to follow.
I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you build your Alert and think the decision to go with clinker planking has paid dividends as it looks superb.
Thanks

welcome to MSW.
Don't worry you'll definitely get plenty of help and encouragement here. Enjoy and have fun.

This is new to me, off work while the sun is shining 🤔
Anyhow done a bit more fitted and glued wings, also rear wings. I think before I go any further I'll get some colour on it, just the bottom colour which according to the paint guide is an off white but the one I've got is satin white. We shall see next time.
Thanks for all your comments and likes, and stay safe!!
Cheers 😁👍

Absolutely stunning. I think "Master Korabel" should use your model for the box artwork and pictures of the finished model, in the instructions. What a Masterpiece!!!
Yves
I second this idea. An absolutely fantastic model.

I can still go out for groceries, doctors, post office, even parks, except the idiots descended on 2 state parks in throngs and now they are closed, spoiling it for the rest of us.
We have the same here, can go out for supplies and work, even for a walk, exercise etc... but the numbnuts crowded into the national parks, one lot even held a rave, now all public gardens, wood and country parks are OB

This is when I'm happy mine shows no interest in my modelling unless it cost too much in one go😖

There is so much more cockpit detail in this kit compared to the Monogram kit of my youth.
Yes I seem to remember with the old airfix kits you stuck a seat in and that's ya lot😂

Well that's it I'm not waiting for my site to close, I'm not going to work after today.
In between mowing the lawn because the sun is out and cleaning the yard I've bee doing a bit on the dauntless.
Put the engine together and completed the cockpit.
Dry fitted in fuselage to check it sits ok. It did so glued fuselage and taped it while it sets.
Wings next.
Cheers till next time 😁👍
