  2. Many thanks Christos and Igor, for your nice words.... Christos, yes, Its not easy to control a bunch of outlaws, they have their own minds.... Igor, thanks for your nice congrats, much appreciated... Nils
  3. Well done Julian ! The ship is looking very good. Am curious for the rigging and further fitting out. Will you spend her a set of sails ?.... Nils
  4. Hi Michael, wow ! what a "monster", is it perhaps planed as a votive-ship model for hanging from church ceiling in Aarhus ? Nils
  5. Hi Bob, I`m so happy to receive your kind compliment, it is very much appreciated, and I`m pleased you like the Chebec.... Regards, Nils
  6. Hello Michael, The "Perlen" is a great and large scratch project, it must be around 1500 mm or more, from mizzen driver boom to bow sprit. Very interesting build..... I wish you much fun with it and happy keel-laying... Nils
  7. Wunderbar Albert !! love it.... Nils
  8. Very nice work Ward, I like the nostalgic charme of this "old lady"..... Nils

  10. Doris, thank you so much, such nice compliment from a masterbuilder as you are, really mean something to me, and give me good feeling. Unfortunately, as I mentioned to Moxis already, I`m out of display space in my home, so it may take some time before I can start a further project. On my list would favourably be a Chinese "Hainan trading Junk" Best regards. Nils
  11. Many thanks Dan, am zipping a cool beer already... Guess your "Michelangelo" is on the end-straight also... Nils
  12. Hi Moxis, a self made steam engine including a self made gas-fired boiler, that would be a thrill, and if possible fit all into a suitable boat with RC control. That will keep your designer`s mind busy for several weeks and months for planing and making, and your fellow builders at MSW shall be eagerly waiting to share your progress steps, once its kicked off...... Nils
  13. Hello Patrick, thank you very much for your nice words..., am pleased you like it.. Nils
  14. Hi Moxis, yes, I see you really sensed the feeling one has when the model is complete. For the Chebec I still have to build the glass case, but quite a problem remains the fact, that I have`nt an adequate place where to display it in the moment. If I set it up in my hobby room, I would have to move at least one of the other six glass cases first, but also would`nt know where in the house to put that then instead.... My wife, Marianne, suggests that I better stop building model ships for quite some time.... ( not a good idea I think...) Nils
  15. Many thanks also to my fellow builders Grant, Kees, Ken, Steve (Steamschooner), and Moxis, for your kind compliments for the Chebec model. Nils
  16. Hi Siggi, the Tiger looks great, wonderful the figurehead, the lines of the ship, and now your new deck ! I also like the small self cast cubic lead weights you made.... Nils
  17. heartiest thanks to Peter (flyer), Jack, Jesse, Antony, Jeff, Bill, Mark, Carl, and Ian (seventynet), your kind comments and compliments are so much appreciated, and I`m very pleased the Chebec is being liked.... Nils
