  2. Strange to see you at the forum so early in the morning but I must not forget that you are in Europe at the moment
  3. Hi Sam, I was take a look at the kits log and find this one ! That's a hell of a job what you are doing. Stripping the whole model ! But at the end you have a beauty ! With your skills it should be no problem. One tip. When I magnify the pictures there are not sharp anymore. Maybe it is better to use a tripod. It keep the camera level and you can make great pictures ! If you have no tripod, use a stack of books. I will follow you further on. so, keep on going and let the pictures coming ! P.S. Send my regards to your mother
  4. Hi Grant, You are not only a great modeller but also a great tour guide ! I can read between the lines that you have a great time over there. It's not that far from where we are living but still to far ( 4 1/2 hour drive ) I shall wait patiently for the pictures of your trip. Maybe it is easy to post them on Picassa web and put the link in your build log so we can all see the great pictures ? Thanks my friend and enjoy the rest of the trip in France, England and Italy !
  5. Hi Eddie, Glad that you are back ! Rest well and take your time with everything. Rome is also not build in one day and so is the Elsie !
  6. Hi Robbyn, I don't feel myself alone anymore with those ratlines ! Very, very nice ! In two weeks the SF will be finished !!!!!!! Good luck with all the school stuff. And just what you are saying your self….take a break from it from time to time !

Save me a lot of work !!!!!!!! And stay out of my box from my Aggy ! If you need wood, order it by your self and don't take mine !!!!! And keep my Aggy save in our bedroom ( Anja and mine )
  9. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Popeye If I'm to late then this is for next year so i can not forget it Any updates with pictures from the Goth??????
  10. Thanks Børge, Jim and Popeye, @ Børge, Yes, i'm happy to. That's nothing for me that hanging on the sofa and doing nothing…. Just watching television. I didn't know that there are so many programs at day time @ Jim, No worries, When I enter the workroom she is standing there in her full glory ! Shouting about ratlines……. And still a few more to go ! @ Popeye, Come on and go to the ratlines. When you started on that, it goes quick. And it is almost fun ! You see some progress and the build is gonna get a body ( if you what I mean ) Everyday is a step forward
  11. Jim, If they are leaning or not it is still a great job ! Nice to see the fittings has there stack Great job again !
  12. Wow, Early in the morning history classes Thanks Trafalgarhero ! One little rectification ( difficult word so early ) I thought it was the twin sister. She has the same lines and furniture. I found a site where it is saying that her name was the San Ildefonso and after the capture by the British she's got the name HMS Ildefonso…... http://3decks.pbworks.com/w/page/915106/HCMS%20San%20Ildefonso%20%281785%29 But thanks anyway Trafalgarhero.
  13. Before someone is asking if there is any build left at this log….look at page 99, there is one update !
  14. @ Frank, Thanks ! And I hope you mean the pages and not my age……. @ Augie, You know the reason why I keeping them beige @ Ferit, It's a sport of Andy. Because he has so much work, he can do that
  15. Hi John, For me it sounds that you are making a trip around the world ! And that in 80 days? Or is that another movie
  16. Hi Pierre, Yes I'am fully recovered !!!!!! I can sing ( don't do that ), dance ( like to do that ) and work a little on the boat ( not to much )
  17. Adriaan, Then i'm happy that that police man is not in our area ! Then he can get all the time new ticket books ! When we keep a distance of one car, we have one big ,traffic jam here! And I received all the time tickets when I'm driving the bus. A lot of drivers love to "trow' there car in the front of the bus…... Maybe that's the Dutch stile
  18. Yes it is update time ! I have finished the starboard side of ratlines…... Now I have to go to the mizzen mast but I don't want to do it today. Maybe I'll make a start at wednesday. First I have to make the lanyards for the 3rd time Pictures !!!!!!!
  19. Hi Adriaan, The like button is NOT for the accident or the ticket ! I hate it when such thing happened. And then a ticket because you where to close on the car in front of you? Where you driving or waiting at a traffic light? Is it your fault that the car behind you push you to the car in front of you??????? Police is gonna get crazy ! I'm glad that you are all right. Damage on a car can be repaired, human body takes a little longer. And you are right, you never say witch ship has to have the ratlines before you started on the CF !
  20. Hi John, I love the see something from the world. When i look at the difference of our country's ,it amazing. Normally I have to look at the television to something else then our flat country….. You have so many diversity like, mountains, planes, desserts, forrest, endless roads. We only have city's, city's and a few more city's. When Wayne was on the move he was driving for days and still in his own country. When I'm driving for days i'm passing 12 difference country's with all difference languages, currency and all kind of stuff. For us it's unbelievable that you can drive so many hours without seeing someone……. Maybe that's why we are travellers? We always want to see what's behind the horizon and in the USA that's possible, not in Holland. There is no horizon only city's ! I'm doing just fine. On friday I go back to work and goes on the daily routine….. Driving the bus again in Rotterdam…. Make fun with the passengers. Thanks for asking my friend. Enjoy your trip and I will wait for the next pictures from your beautiful country. Thanks for that !!!!!!
  21. Thanks Bob ! I think I'm wearing honey because Grant is following me I shall wait for pictures !
  22. Hi Sherry, Pictures…..just like a boomerang I see. Maybe tomorrow I can sow you some. Be patient please ( I know it is difficult for a woman )
