  7. Shortgrass, I've never seen any ship with vertically planked bulwarks. Occasionally the transom is vertically planked in late 19th century schooners. John
  8. Looks like a very nice model. I a ships were going to be docked for a long period the sails would be stowed along with their rigging, but if she was only docked for a short time the sheets, clewlines and buntlines my well have been left rigged - so as Allan says, your choice. John
  9. If you look at the manufacturer's illustration, you can see that all of the fore and main braces run forward instead of aft! John
