  1. Yeah the unit was going vertualy free but I had to go over and diss-assemble it first, the person I got it from was pleased to see it go and wasn't sure it would come apart without damage, it did - I knew my old carpentry skills would come in useful. Best thing is - it fits a treat in the space I made for it. OC.
  2. I have a new home for the pearl and others built, I had to diss-assemble and re-assemble it yesterday, it is a mainly glass unit with a wood back - top and bottom, I have a few more kits to be built that will share the space when ready. OC.

  8. Your doing fine mate, my farther leaned soldering as a matelot while doing his different stages through the FAA then combined RAF, he then pased some of his knowledge onto me - he always told me (make a strong joint - any over seems can be filed down). OC.

  10. Dont knock yourself mate, you do some lovely work and not at a tiny scale either, I love all your builds you have worked on. OC.
