  1. How are the floors meant to be - small stones like shingle, you could build up around the walls to make up the right width to match the card shapes, and where you need to make a false floor higher - you could add another layer of bricks to the height you need, that would support the raised floors (I would make your floors with shingle material before fitting them so they have some strength) I also agree about the need for a few colums to support the middle areas. OC.
  2. It looks like it needs blocks on both sides Alan, on one of your pics above it looks like its asking for blocks on both sides, that would explain the under size floor cards. OC.
  3. Evening all, so carrying on wth my latest treend - I thought I would do some more photo editing of some of the photos in this build, its currently sitting in my display case waiting one day for me to spark up my compressor and prime it. OC.
  4. Thank you kindly Alan, she brought back memories as she is no longer with me - she was donated to a chap who had a relative who served on her. OC.
  5. Excellent work Alan, I do understand how you feel about all the work in those stone works - its looking so organic as it becomes more than just an MDF or plastic construction - truly nice work. OC.
  6. Thank you kindly mate, its that grass sprinkle medium - it comes in bags and you just sprinkle it on a glue layer and keep adding to it as you want for height. OC.
  7. Excellent finish Mark - just need to find a safe place to display her. OC.
  8. Thank you kindly Alan, this actual frame XV-666 is still flying with a civil operator - https://navywings.org.uk/sea-king-xv666-damian-celebrates-50th-anniversary/ OC.
  9. Thank you kindly Dan, I thought I was quite slow - the champion speed builder I think is Greg. OC.
  10. That is looking Superb - the rivet detail looks so right. OC.
  11. Thank you kindly Rob, yep that New Tool 48 scale Sea King looks Superb possibly the best Sea King kit ever made. OC.
  12. Indeed mate, sometimes easier models built straight out the box while doing other stuff can be real fun. OC.
  13. Hi all, this was the first kit I brought many years back that got me back into modeling, it was just a basic build with no tools just the contents of the box that included paints a brush and glue, it was just thrown together during a few afternoons while watching naval ship movements through our old window. OC.
  14. Hi all, so even this one has not gotten away from my re edits in Lightrrom, as I am being lazy and not building anything at the present. OC.
