Have enjoyed your thread very much.  I have been eyeballing one of these from a local dealer here in the US.  I am very impressed with the quality.  I too enjoyed your tutorial about melting PVA w/a iron.  Does work with thin wood.  I use a iron, I used to apply Mono-kote to RC planes.  Works great for the applying glued planks and adjustments.  Looking forward to more of the build.

PS:  I have noticed several times, individuals talking about contact cement.  This also works after you get the piece just where you want and lightly run a iron down the plank, warms the material and flattens the plank for a tight lay with no edge curl.  Burnishing also works well.  I am no big fan of contact cement, in my past working life, I applied Formica to counter tops!  Can not stand the smell of the stuff anymore.

Stem assembly required a bit of fitting and fairing, laser kerf was not taken into account when pieces were laid out.

But overall the glue-up was going easy.

There are some small gaps, but I decided not to be a perfectionist here :)

Now the stem needs to be rounded and sanded:

You are really moving right along Daria. Very nice work.

My wife likes your nail polish.

Time to install top railings. Daria learned how to use a blade for scraping to turn rounded edge to a flat one:

Also added an extra layer of wood for whales, etc.

.... And then we had a long break :) ....

She finally got a rabbit that she was planning for a long time, we started mountain biking together, and her baby sister needed attention too, etc etc (excuses, excuses).

Modelling was a bit on a backburner for a while.

... A year later we got back to it.

- Hm, daddy, I think we haven't been building our ship for a while?

- Say no more! 😎

Now time for some fiddly things. "Fashion piece" imitation. I am proud that she could fine fit such a delicate part on her own (very thin and prone to splitting).

Catheads. She does not like the feeling of a file rubbing on skin, but masking tape helps with that :)

She wanted a timelapse:

Really nice, same stage as my Polotsk for now.

My 10y old daughter is also interested in building one with me but we are doing some smaller projects first as she needs to understand that it will take minimum a year to make. She usually gets bored after few hours so small training needed :D

So nice to see you back working on your lovely model Daria. The time lapse video was a good idea too - now we can see that you really are doing all the hard bits and just leaving Dad to do the easy bits!

To use Mads expression on youtube channel Sail Life: Pretty dang spiffy!

Keep it up!

Happy modelling!
