Yes, cherry wood. I wanted to make it from pear wood, but the color of the pear wood I bought was not good. The wood was a little wet, so I gave up using pear wood

This looks like a very promising kit. Is this kit free from legal ties with that French company (Ancre)?

Although it sports a French name, the plans and documentation seems to be in English. Hopefully, there will not be any Copyrights problems for this beautiful kit.

There is no copyright issue with the hull,

Kit is Pof,The publisher's book is Pob.So they're very different.

There are also differences in other details.

If you need to make a mast, you need to buy the publisher's monograph. This part involves copyright issues, so kit will provide sail materials, but not plans for sails

How do you represent the bricks in the oven? Is the oven hood made from soldered brass?

The brick of the stove is red clay. I made a mold and pressed it into four bricks

Are these supplied ready to use, or do they need to be removed from their carving block?

It needs to be removed from the block. The thickness of the bottom of the block is 0.1-0.2mm. It can be easily removed after grinding.I will take some photos to show how to remove the carving easily
