Good evening everyone

been a good day, took the Boi out on 3 walkies and never got wet once

as for the build,, the hull, masts and fittings are complete, other than two spars that are stowed on the deck, i might not bother with them

i had to scratch the fwd skylight, i remember removing them at the start of the build, put them in a safe place, but forgot where that place is, no doubt they will be found when the Amerigo comes back to the table later this week

good evening everyone from a very windy Somerset, but dry, might even get some gardening done tomorrow

wrt the build the rigging has started, and the stays are going in its such a shame that the instructions are pants, going by the steps the brass runners go up the masts and are pinned into position, tonight i realise the stays go behind them lol ho hum

sorry for the crap photos, to get any detail in landscape i impossible as she is to large, when in portrait to picture turns 90 degrees

good afternoon everyone

sails

the supplied material is washed in 70/30 water pva mixture and allowed to dry, this stops the material fraying

cutting the material to the 1/1 plans and drawing the seam lines in, these lines were then sewn over by the admiral,

reinforcing strips added i have done both sides

good evening

@Jim Lad lol she is not going to let me forget that she helped me

tonight i managed to get the bottom of the after sail fixed to the trolley and put on a bolt rope, and for tonight just temp put it in place, im quite pleased the way it is turning out

i think the sails could do with cleaning up a bit, like removing the pencil marks

Good afternoon everyone

the stand has now been made up properly and mounted on a stained pine shelf

last night i finished a few last bits off, rope coils, safely rail and and the silly mounted navigation lights

the last thing i did was put the name on, which is Dora, as she bears very little resemblance to the real item

thank you to all those who have followed me

i will put some reveal phots in the gallery later

Thank you MSW for a lovely retirement gift
