Hello everyone, I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year.  Now a new update of my work on Le Coureur.  In the last few weeks I have attached the planks to the deck, set tree nails and converted the anchor winch according to the Ancre plans.  The construction of the deck started and the interior planking was installed.

Hello everyone and have a wonderful good day.  In the last few days I've started with the top planking and the railing.  Meanwhile I don't use much of the actual kit anymore and try to build everything according to Ancre's plans.

I have now finished nailing the starboard and port side, burnished the nails and oiled everything (tung oil).  Now I'll start with the railing.

Hello everyone, in the last few weeks I haven't been able to do anything on the Lugger because I've moved my workshop to a new room.  Yesterday it was time for the first chips to fall.  I have started to install the first water drains.  2x2mm brass tube sawn and blued.

I'm far from finished with the shipyard, it will take some time until everything is in place.

That's a fantastic shop!  It looks like you get to spend a lot of time on your hobby, so a nice shop will get a lot of use.  I just went through you build and it looks terrific!  This is a really neat kit and you're doing a great job building it.

Besides the National Galleries in Barcelona and Annapolis (Maryland), I have never seen a larger collection of exquisite models.

Hello Yves, there were about 60 model builders on site and just as many models, if not a little more.  You can find one or the other here in the forum.

Sorry, I'm new here and therefore late to the party. That's an amazing build, ein inspirierendes Modell, that you build up Tobias. I eyed the La Coureur from CAF for a later build, when I have a bit more experience under the belt. I will keep your build log in mind for when time comes.

Hi all, La Palme needs a break from me at the moment, well I thought I'd get on with Le Coureur for a bit then.

 

In the last two days I made all the ring eyes on deck and put them up. The cleats have also been replaced.

Good evening everyone,
The little runner is growing very slowly with all the little brass work and other little details. Today I treated the deck with tung oil, put the dinghy brackets in place, installed the little stairs and did all sorts of small details.
