Been actually on the site for few weeks , just waited until the model came in to start my first post. Been reading a lot, videos, blogs, etc and doing the research on the Occre models. Hopefully they are as good as I read on them. But Ty for adding me. With the vast experience and knowledge bas here. Plus I'm a old carpenter and retired sailor. I believe I'll do fine. I am not sure about the Albatross, but for the HMS Beagle Occre has a series of over 100 short YouTube videos demonstrating building techniques. They were very helpful and I am sure many of them will be transferable to this model. If you need a link to them let me know. I've always liked the looks of that ship but know nothing about it or the kit. I'd follow a build log if you start one.
