That True Metal Iron "paint" really looks like steel! And your "weathering" technique simulates the slight color differences seen in large steel sheets. Very nice.

 

For other readers Gary does mention my MSI build. The MSI blueprints show the sacrificial oak sheathing but do not say much about how it was applied to the hull. I had never seen this sacrificial sheathing and was at a loss how to proceed until Gary explained that it was common on fishing boats and showed how he was doing it. This is an example of how important this Forum is for sharing information.
