I'm happy that i see that there are more people happy  :D  :D

@ Kevin,

No problem that you missed it what about the serving.

I just love the look of those cables at the moment !

It's a shame to hide that !

@ Sam,

I have to come to the city of Angels ??????

Am I allowed to come there ????? ;)

Don't forget, I'm still working and have only 3 weeks vacation instead of a whole year !

When we are coming to the USA I have to take a round trip now ...... Pfffffffff

Thanks for the compliment  :D  :D

@ Popeye,

Thanks !

You have a nice way to saying it...

It's not frequency but quality  :D  :D

I like that !

@ Hennie,

You should be happy with what you are doing with your Aggy !!!!!!!!

@ Jan,

Are you kidding me ?

Most " exiting"??????

It's fun, that's true.

You see results with every block and rope you attach to the model.... ;)

But I understand what you mean  :D  :D

@ Bob,

Thanks !!

A step back and 3 steps forward.

That's the true nature of model building !

@ Bill,

Nice to hear from you again my friend !!!!

Don't stay away so long anymore !!!!

You make us nervous.......

Thanks for the lovely words what you have written by Augie.

And now back to the workbench and make some sawdust.....please ???????

Love the crowsfeet Sjors.  Doesn't the euphroe also bring put a Dutch girl in amongst the animals?  Believe the English word euphroe originally came from the Dutch/German jonge vrouw/junge Frau.

Cheers,

Thanks a lot.

@ Don,

Thanks !!!!!

@ Jason,

I don't know what you mean with euphroe.

I never hear from that word.

But maybe the Old Vlaardinger ( Piet ) can help us with that.

@ Bob,

I onnly has to re-do those feet 3 times.

First time worn parts....

second time rope to short......

3 time....scissors wrong place  :(  :(

And now something else.

John ( Neptune ) send me a PM about they stay's......

Why I did them first instead of the shrouds.

Normally I'm not out of words but this time.......

Stupid me !!!!!!!!!!

First the shrouds and then the stay's !!!!!!!!

Beginner !!!!!!!!!! :(  :(

I hope I can put the shrouds under the stay's or I have a BIG problem !!!!!!!!!!!!

John, thanks you so much that you let me know what I do wrong !!!!!!!!!!!

John,

It's easy to lift the stays.

There is a lot of stretch in the rope and I'm not using all of it yet  :D  :D

Maybe I only has to change the crows feet but I think not.

But again thanks for let me feel like a beginner  :D  :D  :D

Just kidding !!!

Thank for saving me for a big gaffe  ;)

Coming along splendidly Sjors! I see a spot mid-ship where a carriage will fit..... :P

As far as visiting the States, yea, you need more than a couple of weeks. I have lived here 52 years and STILL havent seen it all. There is a reason so many US citizens never get out of their own country.

Thank you all for the nice and warm words.....

Even that I make a beginners mistake  :o

I'm still trying to put the shrouds UNDER the stays and the fore and mizzen mast are done.

Only the mainmast.......and I think I'm lucky that I can do it without damaging the stays and crowfoots.

Lucky me !!!!!!!!

@ ETNZ and Ian,

Thanks !!!!!!!!

@ Popeye,

What a confidence in me  :P  :P

@ Wayne,

You know the ZOO Blijdorp in Rotterdam????

They are now asking me if I want to work with them  ;)  ;)

@ Greg,

Wow is the most highest compliment you can give to someone.

So thanks for that !!!!!

@ Elijah,

Are you living that high on a mountain ??????

I can not imagine how that looks because we don't have any mountain at all in Holland.

Only klompen ( wooden shoes )  :D  :D

But thank you that you are using the wifi for visiting my build log  :)  :)

@ Mark,

Thanks !!!!

You make me

@ Sam,

That spot mid-ship is to small for that big stage coach  :P

I think I need an other life to see the USA.

Mmmmmm not a bad idea.

I can build longer then  :D  :D

Very nice work on the crows feet Sjors or should I say euphroe?  And you are asking an old Vlaardinger to tell you what euphroe means or where it comes from?  Hey I barely passed my Dutch language lessons when in the Dutch school system and failed English, French and German.

However, well like with all foreign words to the English speakers they also messed up with the Middle Dutch word "joncfrouwe," meaning "young female" but can also be a youngish unmarried woman.  Middle Dutch is from the era of the mid to late 18th century to the early to mid 19th century.  English and especially nautical English was a bit different from today's English, as is Dutch.

Sorry folks but I have been studying Old and Middle Dutch for other reasons and find it all very fascinating.

Cheers, Piet the Old Vlaardinger and

Piet, The Flying Dutchman.

Shrouds and lanyards on both side are done.

I only have to tie up the lanyards at the starboard side but the port side is done.

So a few pictures before I go further.

Also one picture of how she looks totally .

Difficult to get that in one shot.

She is BIG !!!!!!!
