I don't know the ship that well but the flush mount certainly looks appropriate.  Shaping up!

looking good Ron......the divisions of wood grain and color is really eye catching.  you did invite more work for yourself though,  putting the brass on before the color.........just means that you'll need to be a biut more careful in painting.   very nice jog so far !  ;)

Looking really nice there Ron.

Covers done the instructions were saying to mount them on 2mm wood but I think they look better flush as the replica is.Maybe leave the hinges etc brass or paint them black not sure yet.

Personally I would have painted them or blackened them. Not a fan of bare brass but you are the Captain.  Although like Popeye says going to be tricky painting them now they are in place.

I only flush mounted the larger hatches, the smaller ones were 2 annoying to trim out so used 0.5mm so they didn't stick out to far.

Cheers

Slog

Looking really great Ron.

A wee improvement you could try is to overlay the top edges of the standards above the channels with blackened paper or fine card? Gets rid of the plywood look?

Cheers

I mean the curved bits above the channels that reinforce them and attach them back to the hull (I believe they are called "standards" but I could be wrong). They appear to be plywood but maybe you intend to paint them along with the channel itself?

Cheers

Cabin chimney added also wedges to cannons and barrel steps with card.Cannon carriers not accurate for Endeavour so it matches the rest of the kit,at least the name is the same.To much for my skill level to add extra block tackle to the cannons only 10mm of room for 2 blocks hooks rope etc.Add some cleats now, off to work while they dry.

She is REALLY coming together.  Have you considered adding just the breech lines to the cannon?
