gluing the main rail,   the lazer cut tafrail is a bit short, will have to fill in the gaps with some of the wood from the lazer cut patterns.

all the gaps and nail holes will be filled in with wood filler.

AJ,

Whenever I get emails noting an update from your build, I always wait to link-in until I have the time to spend properly admiring your build. Geez your work is soo excellent. Your skills also with paint, application, and perfect tolerances for borders is truly an art. A pleasure for the eyes. Its a though you have miniaturized the 1:1 Kudos to you. I'm really admiring this build.

Regards,

I've decided to place one carronade a day on the build so I can work on others areas.  I doubt I'll be finished with the build in 18 days.

it gets monotonous and strains my eyes.

now to shaping the bowsprit

I have been thinking of this ship for my next project. It will be my second one.  I have been following your build with a lot of interest and have learned a lot. :) .

Thank you for posting this build an letting us learn from your experience.

Your work is very impressive to say the least. There is no way I will be able to match - or even come close - to your workmanship but it will give me a target to shoot for.  What you are getting done in a day will take me a week. :D

Thanks again.....

Hi

Great work !!

One question

Are you going to leave the model on the base while you do the masts rigging etc

Hi GG,

Really, really nice.  Both quality and speed of construction are quite amazing.  Really enjoying your log & getting excited about getting back to mine now that most of the holidays are over.
