I use Harder & Stenbeck revolution silver line with 0,2 needle. Very good airbrush and very easy to clean. Take any colour and mix it more or less 50%50 and it should work perfect. Or no dilution if Vallejo Model air is used.
And to lubricate the needle and triggers the best thing is Iwata Super lube.

Very good advice, all round. This is my way of working for thinning and lubing my Iwata.

If we empty every 2 months, then it's likely that a member will realise he deleted a topic in that time, unless he only did the day before we empty.
Please remember that that there is a responsibility on members for their own actions too. We have given you the tools and we ask that you use them responsibly and really look at what buttons you're pressing.

I use Iwata airbrushes (HP-CH and HP-C+) for my magazine work, powered by an Iwata Smart Jet Pro compressor. All of my paints are thinned 50:50 with Mr Levelling Thinner. Those paints would be Gunze and Tamiya. I also use Mr Paint http://mrpaint.sk which is pre-thinned and ready for immediate airbrush use.

Jim, thanks for the info! Never heard about this system. Looks very interesting! Now I am seriously thinking about a lifting sit/stand table, with shelves build up from this modules
I can promise you won't be disappointed. Myself and a number of friends have invested in these workstations. The beauty is that you can buy whatever units you need, and tailor them to your own bench space. Totally flexible.

Maybe you should head to HobbyZone
They make the most amazing workstation units that are interlinked with powerful magnets, so you can rearrange the modules as to how you like them. The quality is top rate, and they are beautifully designed. Here's my setup:

This is a question about modelling, not website issues, so I'm moving to appropriate forum.

Thank you for posting those Suzanne. That model deserves pride of place. Thank you do much for sharing these images of your father's work.

Hi Suzanne,
Please allow me to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family at this time. 67 is far too young to pass, and I can't even begin to imagine the heartache and sadness you'll be feeling now.
John will be sorely missed here. At MSW, he was amongst friends too. Please pass my regards to your family. I'm thinking of them.

Thanks for posting this up Anja. This was one I wanted to build when I started, but never did get round to buying.
