  3. I wonder if a product called Tarn-X would work? It makes an old penny look brand new. You might try it. Greg

I am wondering if it's ok to just measure the distance from the top of the bulkheads to the reference line on the blueprint and then measure that same on the bulkhead and make my reference line mark? I have seen where others on here make templates from the blueprint to transfer the reference line. What is yalls opinion on this?

  7. Jesse the hardware mfgs that make door knobs and such out of brass, put a coat of lacquer on the finish to protect it. You might try that on the copper plating. I would try it on some left over plates to make sure it doesn't damage anything. Just a thought. Your ship looks amazing. Greg

  14. Augie I wish you a speedy recovery. I am truly amazed at the artistry you put into your work. You and a few others on this forum have shown me I can think outside the box and still build a beautiful ship. I have to make sure I don't try to get in a hurry. Take care.
