I have remodel the hatch to the cabin. I think it is matching better with the ship then the White one and this one can be closed.

I'm reposting my build from 2009. Unfortunately my thread was lost and I do not have photos from the build anymore. I plan to continue on this project. Here are some photos with current status. The wood used is beech and it will be only wood use on this, no colors only matt varnish. So far I have build all the frames and plank half outside of the hull. I do have also some inner planks in place.

Enough time off...... Back to work. I'm hoping finishing the mizzen section today.....fingers crossed! 

Now question...... Leave it in wood colour or paint it Black with gold ornament? 

Rails are done. They are not glued to the hull yet. Once attached and sanded all should be smooth.... I hope🤔

I was really afraid of this task but I have to admit that it was not that bad. I think the result looks good...... At least I am happy with it🤣

Your RC looks great! My rails are not according to the plans as hull and stem from Panart has different shape. I did not want to use the brass wire So I'm trying to create rails from wood. The shape is done to fit the model.

Workings on the middle Rail. 

First step is finished. Main rails shaped in place 

After final shaping it sits pretty good I would say. Far beyond my expectation! 😲

I take all my courage and started with my bigest chalenge. I don't like the way Panart did the headrails. They use only shaped brass wire. I want to make them from wood. I started with shaping the main rails. I believe I'm very close to the "OK" fit but still some work to be done.

Today I played with crowsfeet. I think it turned out pretty good. Happy with the result 😎

Finaly I have triple masted vessel! 🤑

Btw from his videos I learnt how to make ropes...... How to tie knots etc. Super videos

thanks for your comment. Lego bricks comes from one very old set from my childhood. I have many Lego sets and still like to build something time to time. Those few bricks will not be even recognized in the quantity I have
