  1. @Michael... W.O.W...! Your toolbuilding skills are incredible
  2. I desided to keep the weathering minimal. There is allready some wearing and tearing but nog to mutch. In the first picture you can see the kind of weathering I'm talking about. On the hatches and the bullwarks. The same (light) weathering is all over the ship
  3. Lots of work done on the Pelikaan. Frontmast, deckhatches, blocks and pulleys painted. Wooden deck, and a lot of other smaller jobs done. A very big job to do but also to find out how it has to be done Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr
  4. Beautifull lantarns thanks to the brilliant idea of your wife. I wonder how they look like with a few chinese leds inside
  5. I really like the total picture of your trawler. The detaills give it a very nice realistic finish
  6. Added some paint to the hulls, including striping and the registrationnumbers Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr
  7. Impressed by the detaill. The divinghelmet and diver are museumpieces on theirselves. Like the mini abalones.
  8. I was impressed by your boat untill I realized it was just a litlle boat for your bigger boat. Then I was even more impressed. Beautifull
  9. Amazing craftmenship. Your steeringwheel is a work of art and I really like the way you made the blocks.
  10. I've looked for those but they were not the corect size. So I had to take apart an old revell kit of A german half track and some other pieces to build (just) the spools.
  11. Added some red accents. The ship's name on the side and the letters vD (van Duijn) stands for the owners name. Also painted the puls winches. For the (orange) pulse wire. This wire leads to the net on which are electrodes attached. These electrodes send pulses to the seabottome so the fish jumps up in the net. Much less damage to the bottom and less fuel consumption. 12. Hello Patrick. Every part is marked with a letter. The parts with the letter K (ees) get 'some' more attention and where the others get resing casted parts, I only use original parts. My model will be weathered like heavely used fishingship while the others get minimal weathering. So yes.... I Have a favourite
