Thanks for the birthdaywishes (here and on other platforms) During my birthday I was on a holliday with my wife and the kids and it was very very good! Offcourse I will start a new build soon but at the moment I am very busy finding a full time job. The last 7 years I was unable to work because of serious healthproblems. But in the last few months something beautifull happened. At the moment I feel very very well. I have not felt so well in ten years. I don't know if I all my problems are solved (and I still use some medication, see the doctors and I participate in therapy) but I really really want to find a job So now you know what's confiscating all of my precious buildingtime (and after finding the job I hope there will be some time left to build)

I made a glass in lead showcase for the model. It gives a nice open view to the model. On the baseplate are two switches for the lights on the model and on the back there is a connector for a 4.5mm jack plug. Thank you everybody for all the kind comments and hitting the like-button each time I posted a new update. Today I made some pictures on the beach of Katwijk (Holland) and with these pictures I close this buildinglog. Please enjoy watching the pictures and maybe re-read the log and join me in my new buildinglog which will start soon. Busy doing the rigging. A horrible task to find out how all the lines and blocks has to go and actually making them to do so. It looks like one big spagethis to me sometimes. Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr After some hours all the rigging is ready Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr And I tested the leds (again) and thankfully they all work Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr And a temporally fit on the baseplate. The baseplate has a contact for the powersupply and a switch for the lights Untitled by Model Fishingships, on Flickr Next time I hope to show you the final pictures of this triplet. See you then (and after that for a new fishingship offcourse)

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
