  1. Thank You Jay, Bob, Mario, Michael for Your reply. Bob, your build of the Spray is beautiful I know it from the older forum of MSW and I didn't know that is made of poplar, so you can say that is bending well? Mario, I didn't know that poplar will turn that good and I your smasher is just awesome. Jay, I have 2 planks 10mm tick by 10cm wide poplar and is pretty consistent in color all white. Maybe I have the right part . I'm not sure about the bending quality, I will have to test it. Michael, yes I will have to cut some planks to test the bending of poplar. And lot of people use pear for firewood and I think that is just sad, poplar is not that rare and is ok to use it, I think.
  2. Thank You Pete, J.Pett, Dida and Hakan. Dida the wood that I use for the stem and keel is pear, for the other parts I will use some sherry, poplar and walnut. Hakan Yes is harder to this scale and I will try my best not to lose to much details. For now I'm struggling with the bulk head tapper at the stern and stem, hoping I will manage it somehow. Pictures of my error soon

  21. That is just beautiful. I like it all. This is a place to steal a knowledge for tool making. I like the mini drill press, in near future I will have to build one for my rotary tool. I don't really understand the lowering mechanism you know with the handle and stuff. Maybe with more pictures from other angles Thank you for sharing
  22. This is nice solution. Specially like the maxi table . I was thinking to build one in the future and by that to be independent from contractor for sawing thicker wood. And by the way I like the secured rotary tool wrench it makes life easier
