  1. Looks good so far, Bob. Your solution seems reasonable to me!
  2. Fantastic work, Sherry. Could you send my silk worms back if you are done weaving?
  3. Unfortunately, no. It was all lost in the great crash of 2013. I am away from most of my research materials this week but will look through what I have with me and see if I can turn anything up.
  4. looks nice - keep your fingers crossed that you will soon be seeing this!
  5. Sjors - I found this while I was walking along the shore this evening in New Hampshire and thought it may have been dislodged from your SI... Hope all is going well - how are you making out on the metal work? Seeing the rest of your success on this beauty I have no doubt you will overcome this obstacle as well! EDIT: I just noticed - 12 more posts and you will have the distinction of becoming the first non-Moderator Commodore! A worthy rank for a mariner of your stature with your fleet of mighty cottonball carrying warships nearing completion!!!
  6. The terms are from historical records for Royal Navy ships. I recall a rather lengthy discussion on MSW 1.0 about this very topic. I'm not sure we found the definitive answer but there were some good references given!
  7. Very cool - thanks for sharing this!
  8. Augie - aren't many of us just a bit odd? Sjors - great job again!
  9. For some reason I am unable to fathom, my sons have always found this one quite entertaining....
  10. You have done an amazing job on this! I am still having a tough time believing it is not much larger, Buck.
  11. This is truly sad news. The whole Tripp family will hold you and your family in our prayers, Suzanne. Your father provided me with much quiet encouragement and support as a new model builder, and I shall miss him.
  12. The SI redo plan sounds good, Sjors... Wanders off shaking his head and whistling
  13. Thought I heard someone say pictures...guess it is PR only just as well. Clowns training seals to use hi tech spy tools while disguised as whales...while the spiders do the rigging. Who'd a think? Looks good, Augie - my shipyard flies are on layoff during the move if you need incentive pay for the spiders!
  14. I think those are corelware for cooking, Bill. I haven't seen any kits for those!
  15. Note that I did not bring up nuts this time!!! Sweet dreams, Sjors. Looking forward to more pictures!
