  1. Glad to hear Jasson, still ... not much fun as a surprise ... Mark, In that case, the wife must be scared stiff ... or used to verbal abuse ...
  2. NICE WORK! Mick. I really am going to enjoy your build ... sit back, relax and watch it grow ... Cheers
  3. It may look funny, the canopy, since the deck around it hasn't been planked at all ... I like the partly planked deck, but I would have planked at least the length of the boat with 1, maybe 2 planks wide on the outside, to tie it all together visually ... Now you've got all loose components, which, together, form a somewhat strange boat seen from the top ... having cut the planks in a straight line from port to starboard made that impression stronger ... at least, that's my 2 coppers I know it is easy to give 'critique' from the side lines as I wouldn't even turn my hand to such a build ... well done, Patrick
  4. I knew google couldn't translate Russian, it's Dutch translations are just as horrific!! That needs some serious interpretation ...!!! Thanks Igorski
  5. The additional prep time you have now, will make it the more easy when you are fixing her up in the bottle. Like those bottle tools. The genie at work ...
  6. Slow and steady is good, keeps you from re-do's, Bob. You should have known your Admiral would spot a difference ... they always do, maybe it's a gene ... maybe a female thing ... but they'll always surprise you with it ... mostly the moment you least expect it ... Cheers,
  7. I'm reading stereo Johann, Accidentally posted it twice ...? Still this chaloupe build is worth reading over twice so it doesn't really matter Tschüß
  8. Any chance to get a translation ... my Russian has been oxidised to nothing
  9. Sturdy masts, and a lazy carpenter I would say ... enjoy the challenge, I will ... from the sidelines
  10. I see you got your mini sewing machine out of the drawer ... Looks like a viking ship!!! You're certain it's Russian ...?
  11. Still, you got here and it's an impressive build ... I particularly like the copper tape and solder you used, something to remember (although surely forgotten when I most likely want to use it)
  12. Just the one or will you be moving multiple ... Good to see you back, though not at the job at hand ... Although not the nicest thing to find out, it's better to find out now, than later when it would be much more difficult to 'repair' if at all ...
  13. Ahhh, the point of no return ... very very very promising for the final result. You have laid a solid foundation ... should be a walk in the park now
  14. It seems we, at MSW, are surrounded by masters ... master modeller Dan Pariser master redo-er Vadas, master restart-a-new Taylor, and now we have master fixer Dale, and we should not forget our building instruction masters Chuck and EdT, and the master of the large builds Bordeleau, and his oposite the mini master Igor. It's a wounderful site where each build log gives one masterful insights and knowledge ... I just love it. Grant ... masterful workmanship!!! You may point out those near visible joins to me in that last picture ... I for one can't see them ... maybe I should get some surgery done on my eyes (like Brian/Probablynot wants to) for I must be getting blind real fast!!!
  15. Grease lightning ... maybe not as nice as in reality, but it certainly looks good!! ... red or green lights on the bridge, not to spoil their night vision ... you'll come up with a surprise anyway ... if not a tripple build, 'twill be lighted plastic ...
  16. You're saying mick ...I preorder, come over for dinner at your place, have some real fun, see the sights, and paddle back ...
  17. It's the journey we make, and during which, the way we conquer the obstacles we meet

  18. Hmmm Patrick, can't seem to find the loo ... It's so vastly furnished I must have missed it at a right or left turn ... Wounderful job mate. Postpone the deck fixing as long as possible ... one never knows ...
  19. Mick, I'm sure you are going to make me love this build as much if not more as the other!. I'm jealous of your wood supplier. Should move to the UK it seems ...
  20. Could you get me an ENLARGEMENT please!!! I wouldn't dare to ask, but do they work ...
  21. Just in time for this build ... pfff ... you really set a fast pace!!! I realised the dexterity you must have building at this scale ... very impressive!
