  1. Mati, Looks very realistic. Making it will certainly give a good feeling. Love the metal work. Any chance on ruler or coin along side to see its size?
  2. Looks like a ship with breaks!!! Those external support frames didn't help much to increase speed ... Though, it makes the build look very smart. Well done Dick!!
  3. Considering the time a day, late for work ...? Knowing your fingers dexterity, you woulda, coulda have commented before work ... You got sometin to look forrard to as do us!!!
  4. Are you building a ship or building details!?!??! Ah whatever, it's looking grand mate!!! About the XP ...make it a stand alone, not connected to the internet PC, and you won't be bothered by virusses and other malign infestations
  5. Very nice work Cristiano But it makes it worth while living ... when I look at your build
  6. I missed your updates sailor! I love the progress, and the way it looks. Hope you are feeling well.
  7. Ed, That's where you got me confused. Gouache to me is still the paint from e.g. Windsor & Newton without the acrilic base! It re-desolves quickly when getting moist, and get's 'dirty' (like smudged) when you mix it to much when putting multiple layers one atop the other. Now it's clear.
  8. Bob, What's left to write ... Very smart turn out, and clever deck method. She looks real good.
  9. Håkan, Don't mind me to be the first to pull up a chair, and enjoy your build!
  10. One thing which springs to my mind is, why add more weight to an already heavy build ship. Would tree nails do the job ... Without the knowledge, and/or reference material it is a difficult decision to make I might say ... Nothing available at the NMM?
  11. Ed, Thoroughly enjoying your wounderful build. Any reason for titanium white and not e.g. zinc white? Will the gouache be 'sticky' enough for the acrylic to stay on? I have never tried those two one atop of the other ...
  12. Mobbsie, I didn't notice that tree trunk nails size you used. I did, however, enjoy the look and progress of your work.
  13. Grant, That's some lovely treenailing you've got there, not to dark and stil visible. Great work!!
  14. How small will the next one be??? You keep the details real sharp, even when you make your parts smaller each time!
