  1. Mobbsie, I would say no. 3 port from this side on the lower row of gun ports is somewhat high (is that the same as your no 6?) Congrats on your establishment. What's the average age of a midshipmen during the nineteen hundreds ... Don't expect you'll be finished planking for to long ... It's doubled planked ...? You're a lucky bloke.
  2. Mihai, Well done!!! Very nice work on the sails. What's next ...
  3. High explosives ... hmmm, that's a blast for a change! As is with all animals ... you can't give enough, as far as treats and 'jummy' things, they'll eat until they puke, and after that continue, you never know when you get to eat again
  4. Oi, you got 'nough space for couple o' six packs ... thirsty works pullin' lobsters from cagies
  5. Sam, Maybe some Muy Tai will help. Probably not ... But you know: Work arounds have been invented just for these precious moments. I know, I've had a few myself ... Some soothing food might help your feline fury against sudden urges ...?
  6. Well done Sjors, very nice your gratings. Do you have something on the side with it ... ?
  7. I'm a complete CAD nerd. That is to say, I know my way around software - I should as a programmer (it seems) - but CAD is new to me. I've been looking for programs - preferably free, yes I'm Dutch - which could be used by a layman. So far I've tried DELFTship, and autoCAD. DELFTship is cumbersome, and unfortunately autoCAD is rather expensive for what it will be used. Today I found another program: Draftsight. It's free, 2D and 3D, uses DXF files, runs on Windows/Linux/MAC. So I'll try this one, and have a look at the - hopefully not to complicated - engine under the hood. 14. Michael, Saw your thread and started reading it. You can convert a jpg/jpeg to a dxf file with WinTopo. They have a free and a Pro version. I presume the free will do for what we do with it.
  15. Grrreat, your back laddy. Missed you and your darkling prince! You've still got some images to upload ...

  19. Sarah, He'll be making old fashioned coke bottles with his window maker, bear and spinach tins from brass tubes, and rubber bands from strips o' paper. He'll probably has it all worked out already!
