  1. That is gonna be a "woppa" love all the detail and bits and pieces as lou said crew would be great there are some Amazing figures at Verlinden. OC.
  2. Great work on the bomb bays - you so could go to town at that scale - make one drule. OC.
  3. It was, think it was the same mold as there early 60-70s Apollo rescue S61, but modified with add on like the radar and sonar cover, also the engine sand filters. OC.
  4. Thought that was apt - sneaking away in the beak head, OC.
  5. Finished (at last) - I painted and added the last of the figures including an unlucky guy who was left to hang from the main upper mast (he just bones). Also I fitted two flags that I sent off for to get fabric ones, they were trimmed then had the rope trapped and secured, I got the drupe by applying pva and shaping when wet - then heated with a hairdryer to catch the shape. Its been a really enjoyable build and I can Highly recommend the kit to anyone. Thank You to Every one who followed and commented. Here's the gallery light wasn't to good though indoors with just an over head light. OC.
  6. And there was me thinking the Italeri C130J herc was big in 1/48 scale, I had this kit a few years back but sold it on due to its size. OC.
  7. Cant wait for the mossie for obvious reasons. OC.
  8. Those details - those details - superb work this is gonna be a stunner. OC.
  9. Thank you denis, I think they make the ship "come alive" certainly giving the pearl a bit of character. OC.
  10. Thanks mate, they take some time but quite enjoyable. OC.
  11. Carrying on with the saga - On the poop deck general quarters is called using the ships bell, while still on the poop deck another pirate checks the map, on the main deck peg leg joe comes over sword in hand , and at the same time another brings a chest up the front ladder from the main gun deck. OC.
  12. Excellent work - what a difference between the different deck mediums - and wow you must have so much patience doing all those tree nails. OC.
  13. Could try a couple of columns/pedestals one slightly longer than the other to get the lean you want? OC.
  14. Couple of columns or perhaps a couple of frames - depends if you want them decorative or invisible? OC.
  15. Very nice work - its difficult making a small ship detailed and true to life as many kit fittings tend to be over scaled, I have been over one of the actual replica Hinds and can vouch for how small they are. With regards to your next build Victory I will look forward to that - that will be crying out for all your extra details. OC.
  16. Very nice work EJ I dont think I could attempt sail making. OC.
