Case is under consideration but the panels will have to be plexiglass/Lexan/etc. as glass this size would be way to heavy to ever move. She looks sleek, beautiful, racy, even sexy ... A master achievement you can be proud of. If I may venture a small criticism, the cradle you have chosen, whilst justified for stability reasons, looks a bit « heavy » and spoils a little the fantastic lines of the hull. A fantastic result nevertheless. Well done ! Hubert
cdrusn89 Posted November 23, 2019 Author #188 Posted November 23, 2019 (edited) Thanks all - as for the stand, I am thinking about taking a page from Keith Aug's stand and replacing the end pieces with thick (1/4" or maybe thicker) plexiglass. But that will have to wait until I get a case built which will require additional shop machines (like a full size table saw) for which I need approval from HQ. Maybe for Christmas. cdrusn89 Posted December 2, 2019 Author #190 Posted December 2, 2019 (edited) I took Hubert's comment to heart and rebuilt the cradle using 3/4" Plexiglas (cast acrylic actually although I do not know what, if any, difference there is between them) in place of the wooden ends. I owe the idea the Keith Aug who did a similar but much more sophisticated cradle for his Endeavour. I does make a marked improvement.
