Battle of Waterloo Attack on La Haye Sainte Farm by Old Collingwood - 1/56 (28mm)

Recommended Posts

I feel for you brother, we don't have a national health service here in this country, but the dentists don't accept medicare or any real medical insurance  either...

Modern medical insurance is so backwards in todays world it's incredible.... Hang in there the answer will appear...

We will still be here....

Hi Chap,

Good to see your posts at the very least!!

I was wondering where you had got to. 🙂

Look after yourself and get someone to prescribe some Amoxicillin perhaps?

Cheers and Regards,

Harry.

Thank you kindly  Harry.

I'm sorry to hear this.  Bad teeth are not fun.  Like Harry suggested, check out if there's any over the counter type of antibiotics.  I've heard you folks in the UK have that option unlike us in the States who need a prescription from a doctor.

Same situation over here  Mark,  antibiotics  need a  doctors  prescription for them, but we have an online  form we can fill  ill  where the doctor arranges a prescription to be collected/deliverd to the house by our chemist.

Hi there  all my friends,  I have not  given up on this  build  -  the  figures  are still  sitting on the table  going through  stages of  whistling,  walking up and down the table  -  stomping their feet,  and now  they are  just  lying about the floor  staring at the ceiling,  I hear the occasional  cough trying to  get my attention.

I will  return  just  I locked my mojo away  in one of the cupboards  and need to  find it.

Good afternoon.

Hope you are recovered.

So to the point.  Is the attack on La Haye Sainte still in your schedule or have you had to walk the plank?

It was a bit ironic finding your posts on this maritime site as my brother builds the ships and I do Napoleonic.  I caught up yesterday with your posts and it was a bit of a treasure trove so keep it up.  Last year I sold my 25mm French Army and moved to 28mm due to level of detail and eye strain.  I have just finished dabbling and completed a measly 100 French infantry, 1 cannon and crew, an artillery train and mini ambulance diorama, but I’m now thinking your idea is the way to go for such variety.  Great work.

Thank you  for looking over my  build log,    yes I will be  returning to  it,  just  for  the time being  I am  not  pushing myself  with it as  I want to be able to give it  my best.    There is  still  lots  more  to do to it  -  figures and scenery.

Morning all,    In  anticipation  of me  continuing  with  my  build,  I decided  to put  my whole  Waterloo  folder  through  my  Lightroom  editing  software  to  try to improve  some  of the  pics.

They  are in no particular  order  and there  is  loads  of them  -  hope  you  don't  mind.

Please pick refreshments  of your  choice  while  looking......

Hi OC

I've had to spend too much time in the real world recently but its great to see the photos of your figures again. I really like the one of the Rifles streaming out of the gate. I can almost see movement there.

I hope your dental issues were resolved and all is well with you. I seem to be seeing far too much of the medical profession at teh moment and its far from my favourite activity even if a lot of it is on behalf of someone else.
