Thanks for the comments and likes !

I'm happy that you like it  :D  :D

@ Mick,

It just the way you want to work.

I'll doing it this way, one mast at the time from top to bottom.

When I do first all the shrouds , then `i have a lot of ratlines to do.

Now I can change my work....shrouds and then ratlines and then shrouds again and ratlines again etc, etc, etc

If I have to re-do the shrouds,it's not that much.

I hope I answer your question.

For you and the Admiral also a Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year !

Hope things go better then last year....

No Sjors

You have totally lost me

I am seeing five of eight shrouds fitted and then the ratlines

How are you going to fit the final three shrouds and knot them in to the ratlines ????????????????????

I cannot see it and I don't understand

Hi Mick,

Sorry for the misunderstanding.....

The deadeyes where are still empty are not for shrouds but for stays.

Each part of the mast has his stay what goes on to the deadeye.

When I finished the ratlines, you will see what I mean.

I can't wait to see it finished  :)

Great work Sjors,

You'll be finished this one in no time.

Oh wait........I seem to recall that the Sjors shipyard will be commencing work on the Aggy from 01 Jan 14......maybe this one will take a little longer then ;)

Thanks for the likes.....I like it  :D  :D  :D  :D

@ Grant,

There is no rush with both of the ships.

I take my time with it.

I'm using you as a example  :D  :D

@ Augie,

No update this year anymore...sorry

31 hours to go to 2014  :D  :D

@ Lawrence,

I can not make the time goes faster.

The mizzen mast took me almost 4 weeks so the main mast is taking a little bit longer.

But no rush !

By the end of 2014 the SI is also finished ( I hope )

@ Popeye,

You are right.

Doing something else as only the rigging is a pleasure.

That's why I do two builds at the same time.

Looking very good Sjors! Time is relative, you will finish when you finish, there is no rushing this hobby at all because when you do, you inevitably screw something up as I have learned!
