San Ildefonso by Sjors - FINISHED - OcCre - 1:70

Recommended Posts

Thank you all…..

@ Patrick,

There is one chessboard in scale but that's in the Captain's cabin…….

@ Grant,

Anja can hide some canon balls but she's at work now so I have a secret hiding place with a few canon balls….. :D

@ Adam,

Thank you!

@ David,

Thank you also!

@ Jim,

No worries my friend, canons are on the way  :D  :D  :D  :D

But when they are there I will use popcorn to shoot instead of cotton balls…..

@ Daniel,

I know, I know…..

Beside all the fun there is still some modelling.

Maybe it is better that every time I do something and post it I shall put a link with it?  :D

Then you don't have to search…..

@ Sherry,

You are very welcome  :)

@ Adriaan,

Anja want to use the cotton for something else…...

I'm curious for what….

@ Popeye,

I know you have to struggle to a few pages before you see a few pictures….but when you are there, you see something !

@ Mark,

Thanks for the compliment about the chess….uh samson posts…..

I'm not going to the dark side, I stay on the bright side.

When Anja is starting I shall help her if needed but that's it!

I have to many projects left…….

@ Wayne,

Thank you !!

Those are painted cotton cannon balls, right?  I would hate to think that all of the detente that has been going on is now in jeopardy!!!

Continues to look very crisp and impressive, Sjors - want to do the planking and furniture on my Ranger???????  Only one cannon so not much benefit to either fleet, though....

Thanks again all  :D

@ Andy,

I still have no cannons……only the balls!

@ Wayne,

They are not cotton but real lead…. I use it when I go fishing  :)

@ Sherry,

Yep, more ammunition :D  :D

I have to be prepared…...

@ Ferit,

Thanks …no vitamins today, just a lot of love in the build !

Because I'm in the mood for pictures , a few more.

The deck furniture is in place and the last railing.

Also the chess pieces are glued…..

No more chess!

Hello Sjors,

Do I hear the threat of war drums in the distance, cannonballs indeed, you'll be looking for some cannon to fire them soon. :pirate41:

I hope Anja has given you permission to use those balls.

She's coming along very nicely my friend. :)

Sjors, very nice looking ship you have there, and you are doing an excellent job of bringing her up to being sea worthy, but I'm a little concerned about you and your balls....Uuups!, excuse me, I'd better rephrase that.... You and your "cannon balls"...... Is this an indication that you might be thinking about arming the big S.I. ???, or are you just putting the "fear of Sjors" out there?? :D  :D

Thanks again guys,

You can make fun of my "balls" uh Cannon balls……..

I'm happy with it and I have now some ammunition…...

Anja pointed me out that on picture 2 ,something was not squire…..

It looks that way but it is straight!

It's an angle of the picture.

I cheque it twice.

I shall make tomorrow a new picture…...
