HMS Dreadnought 1907 by RGL - FINISHED - Zvezda - 1/350 - PLASTIC - revisited

Recommended Posts

It does not seem much, but the bridge structure, lots of clean up needed on the supports, wood deck down with a clear coat and masked for later painting. My plan is to pretty much have every structure painted before adding to the hull.  When I did it the first time I paid no where near as much attention so this time it will work better I hope. 2 days work !

I haven't commented on this build earlier Greg, but i have been lurking and watching this build come together.  You have become a real whiz with PE; some really nice detail you're adding in this (re)build.

cheers

Pat

So using my mule, I’m trying to figure how how to do the dazzle pattern. One thing for someone on a computer, another for a mutt like me

It’s about getting the angles right, so each square seems to be about 10mm which would make sense as it’s a digital render. I need to get some 10mm Tamiya masking tape (it’s the best tape as it doesn’t bleed) and I should be good to go. As I’m on nightshift this week I can’t get to the store unfortunately

Good luck Greg, that will be a difficult pattern to mimic.  Certainly looks effective.

Merry Christmas
