No positive and negative tips for two surfaces. This isn't the comventional LEGO like assembly, but rather stacking plastic blocks without any guide. After stacking all the parts, I found the skin of the hull is twisted and there are many gaps around the skin parts. It happened frequently when I did hull planking. Parts are divided unnecessarily. Determining painting color may be difficult. - The worst water slice decal : Not clear color. The material tears easily. When I pasted the bird on the side hull, it split into 6 parts. 😞 I gathered each part carefully. There are several great build logs in largescalemodeler.com. Also, please read the manual carefully. Read the paper backwards from end, so that you can imagine a clear position of the tiny parts. I'll try the SPAD XIII again with the Trumpeter (Merit) 1/24 scale kit. It can be done but it takes time and perhaps some scratch building. I have a 1:32 SE5 by Roden, the fuselage is warped like a banana. It will take a lot of work to build that one well.
