Right then just a small update today - my ships wheel eventaully arrived, I had to create a platform for it to sit on - this was fitted and painted black, then the wheel and pedestal were pained then fixed down on the deck. I have had to try to raise some money for traveling as he is some distance away and I have no transport of my own, so I had no choice but to sell my camera gear for what ever I could get for it in a hurry. Old Collingwood Posted May 29, 2018 Author Share #445 Posted May 29, 2018 Good evening fellow builders and all the kind likes, I have had a small diversion from my build (lifes little hick ups) Before I was taken away from the bench, I had started to construct the second 9pdr cannon/carriage that goes under the poop deck overhang, I had painted both parts and put them aside to dry, next stage will be the same as the first one finished off with gluing it in place.
