  1. Steven, The paint job looks awesome. Your Dromon is really coming along. Looking forward to seeing more. This is a very cool build!
  2. Congratulations! Excellent work! That’s an awesome collection!
  3. Absolutely! Welcome aboard! I’ll start making sawdust as soon as I finish the Victory. I’m about halfway done with the Victory now.
  4. Adobe reader has a tile option in the print menu.
  5. I like the cheap glue sticks. I get a four pack at the Dollar Tree. They work great for glueing plans to wood.
  6. I’m sorry to hear of this. My condolences to his family and friends.
  7. Model Shipways is a good starting point. They will replace any part for any reason, your fault or theirs. The Model Shipways Sultana was my first real ship model. I really enjoyed building it. I’ve heard really good things about Bluejacket too, but I’ve never built any of their kits. The gentleman who runs it, his username is Mr. Bluejacket (real name Nic), is on this forum.
  8. I did mine the same as the carriages with black around the outside of the wheel to simulate the iron banding.
  9. Cardstock makes excellent templates. Once you find what fits, trace it on the wood. Then just flip it over and trace the other side. Unfortunately, sometimes it comes down to trial and error.
  10. Thank you for all the likes and the comments. Working on the head and the bow. I made a few trim pieces and two small carvings. I’m getting set up to build the head pieces and the head rails. It’s slow going and very finicky. That’s the fun part for me.
  11. I’ve been told before that I taught the mule how to be stubborn, lol.
