  1. Ken is right, it tends to go to orange, hardly fire engine red, Jack (I have just recalibrated my monitor - 4K) Nice build by the way. Something not so violent ...! It could be the setting of your camera ... white balance ...
  2. Down from the waterline e.g. (curtesy of NATIONAL MARITIME HISTORICAL SOCIETY)
  3. Nice. Your's a bit (dark) greenish, compared to the one you said you want to go for. Barnacles turned out real good. Pitty you can't mix the material with paint.
  4. if you mix, very sloppy/streak like, the mister surfacer with some darker paint, you could get some depth in it, if you get my drift
  5. Wilkommen Gerhard, Good to see some life in Austria Sorry to hear about your digital misfortune, do hope you can get your plans.
  6. I don't see you accomplishing that feat ... strange these tubs could sail when looking at the centre of gravity I wonder why it didn't turn turtle! Why those platforms? Doesn't the deck offerr enough support, and possibilities to fixate?
  7. You want to say there are times you aren't!!! Nice new accessories, you will have a ball with those
  8. Since you have time on your hands, you can always redodelydumdo them ........ Left looks pretty good to me, you cut it somewhat short on the right one. Getting a bit mean, been to Holland?
  9. Bit late, but my two pennies on the putty: Works quite nice, quite a smooth finish, dries fairly quickly in the tube's nozzle though. Had it blocked a couple of times, all the way down to the tube's opening
  10. So here you are hiding, maistro. This one could do with some severe weathering!
  11. Nice hull shape you give her Mark. Looks very fine to me The things I do ... I wonder about that all the time
  12. Usually is with the plastic parts, until you get to the PE or painting it all seems to flow easily
