Nice. Your's a bit (dark) greenish, compared to the one you said you want to go for. Barnacles turned out real good. Pitty you can't mix the material with paint.

if you mix, very sloppy/streak like, the mister surfacer with some darker paint, you could get some depth in it, if you get my drift

I don't see you accomplishing that feat ... strange these tubs could sail when looking at the centre of gravity I wonder why it didn't turn turtle! Why those platforms? Doesn't the deck offerr enough support, and possibilities to fixate?

Bit late, but my two pennies on the putty: Works quite nice, quite a smooth finish, dries fairly quickly in the tube's nozzle though. Had it blocked a couple of times, all the way down to the tube's opening

Usually is with the plastic parts, until you get to the PE or painting it all seems to flow easily
