  1. Piet, I like the KPM ship as a next build, you can sink her with your sub and cash the insurance ;-) Dinghy ... from balsa ... I recall having shaped one for the Smit Rotterdam decades ago.
  2. Oi Popeye, Had quite an enjoyable read. Nice to know I can turn to somebody for build modding, boat necromancy, and wood deformations. Looking good my friend. P.s. I would advice to leave vista alone(!!!)
  3. Mark, Grrreat work. For the stern ... you'll figure it out. 've got complete confidence in you
  4. Sam, I'm glad I can do without, though my rear admiral swallows some of the nice stuff (Rich ) She has the same age Sam, maybe year of birth related ...
  5. Garward!! Congratulations. You've definitely earned it after al your hard work.
  6. Piet, Great work mate. If this is boring us, what will be entertaining us!!! Keep it up P.s. I've got some pony menure with nice big worms if you need some ... happy shov'lin'
  7. Sam, Your guns look amazing mate! When will my cannon order be despatched? Hope you'll feel better soon
  8. Danny, Another 'redo' - is there any competition in redoing going on? Splendid work on those top masts
  9. I'm glad you pointed out where you and your mum are in that last picture, I wouldn't have recognised you I would say that the time to take off and remount the railing depends entirely on the system used. If its just pushing a rod in a sleeve it's a fast fit, besides the railing is only to avoid a drunken sailer falling overboard right ...( )
  10. You keep improving, and extending. Love the way she looks right now.
  11. Verolme Scheepswerf used to be at Alblasserdam (not to far from Dordrecht) ... W.F. at the other side of Rotterdam, would be nice to visit. Unfortunately there are fewer and fewer yards as time goes by ... Pass me the recipe for the chilli, never ate one with spaghetti!!!
  12. Great work on the spars Mobbs. Wouldn't a wood file have been more practical instead of a tooth file considering the material (and ofcourse the size)...?
  13. At least I know now the Padres thrashed the Dodgers with a mace and canon ball! Bad weekend, lucky for you, you've got us around!
  14. Danny, Though your working environment might have diminished in size, your work certainly does not suffer from it. Outstanding results on the mast and trees!
  15. Sam, You should enlighten me (PM for not messing up your log to much) on that 'Dodger woop' part, since it doesn't ring a bell. You should know by now I'm just another .... foreigner Looking forward to the realisation of your future view of your 'enterprise'
  16. No coins ... Yeah right Sam, You'll leave out the extra work for sure. That'll be the day!!! Reccon' you'll be makin' the worm, spunge, rammer, and bucket for all them guns too
  17. Michael, I love her. When's the maiden voyage planned? Decided on a crew ..?
  18. Great work on the spars. Bit crowded 'round the masts with all them hangin's though ...
