Et bien oui, esta mucho rapido for me. En cámara lenta sería genial :D (Non-Spanish speakers: Yes, far to quick. Slow motion would be great)

I'm very sorry to hear these very sad tidings. Although I just got to know John, he inspired me, and made me enjoy my hobby. I wish his family a lot of strength with their loss, and the difficult time ahead. In my memory he will remain a good, and inspirational friend

Michael, Just went over the last pages I've been missing out on lately. Great work ... 'specially on the shrouds and the brass fittings. You did use a stool to get to the top of the mast ... didn't you

Mark, Glad to see you at the tools again. 'though it took some resizing a very lovely job on the capstan.

Way to go Adrieke. Your solutions will be a nice manual for others whom will build this kit or want to build a shiny ship. You really are hard to keep up with - maybe I just should visit your log more often .... Well back to work

Bob, I've just logged in since I don't know when last I visited. Seems ages ago. Glad you took her off the drawing board onto the wood. Be glad you didn't start it as a plug ... Now you only need to 'down size' the oversized bulkheads ... It will keep you and your tools sharp

You could have used the wood. Hard to find 30 foot planks, and if you do they'll be rather expensive You'll make a plank on frame/bulkhead or a solid hull? 11.25" isn't that big for POF/POB. P.s. Haven't found a solution to the IE10 problem, but haven't given up either

Adrieke, You've been pritty sharp/observant. it's good to redo those things, as later on they will irritate you, because you know you should have corrected them.

Piet, Lovely job on the hull, it really comes out like a jewel the way it shines, and shows her smooth lines like that.

Mobbsie, Haven't been around much. Not a lot of time on my hands ... so I had my share of reading your log. Great planking job though. I might add you will certainly do great on the copper too!

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
