Thanks Sherry, Jason, Larry and Jim We have a nice quit day…. Do the things that we want to do! So, watching tv (Tour de France ) and a little bit of painting. Andy, I know what you mean but for you I give a explanation…. That is called a Cabrio bus…..specially for Americans who are visiting London. They want to see everything around them. So no roof, just open air…….

Thanks Augie, I am very happy . Even now the colours are changed, it looks better but no pictures yes , because I have to put an other layer of paint on it. Thank you Grant, I'm pleased and the scratch build is still far away for me. Now I have to scratch the storage rooms…. We will see how that goes.

After planking the inside of the transom, I have to scratch two new storage room. The old ones are now to small Shall we say that it keeps me of the street ? And of course a few pictures.

I have to make something clear I think…. We are eating EEL but not from the canals of Amsterdam ! The EEL we are eating are coming for the IJsselmeer. And the best you can by are in Volendam or Harderwijk. I live there close by so I know it very well. And Augie? We have roasted potatoes tonight You can call it patat or gebakken aardappelen…... And now back to the build of John.

John, The EEL that you catch in the canals in Amsterdam, you can hang them on the wall and don't need a thermometer anymore…….

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
