  10. Michael, Firstly, for heaven's sake put those containers of parts away in a cupboard somewhere before you bump them and knock them off the bench! Go for the dark hull if you want a traditional look and white if you want a yacht. Many traditional working craft in the U.K. had their hulls painted with tar as it was both cheap and a good preservative. John
  11. I don't think the extra angle on those forward stanchions will be really noticeable, Danny (unless the ones on the other side have significantly less). John
