  1. Wow... that is an impressive model and display. Looks perfect. And yes... a toast or several is in order.!!!!
  2. That's going to end up being one sweet looking airplane.
  3. Welcome to MSW, Tim. Looking forward to your build log.
  4. I agree with the others. Do just set it aside for now. You'll have a better idea and skills and will know when to restart.
  5. Welcome to MSW, Andre. Wonderful work on the choppers. I had to look several times to really let it sink in those are models and not the real thing.
  6. Don't worry about being wordie, Ian. You're doing a one of a kind project and making progress. I feel you'll have a good model for sailing as you are being thorough.
  7. David, What Allen said is very true. Ask away even if it's just the need to know where to look.
  8. That last photo... wow. Hard to tell it's not the real thing.
  9. Well, I hope that doesn't happen and that she uses the rescue line. I once did a pond model and found that recovery could only be accomplished by wading out to it following the line. Too much pulling and the line separates. Took me 2 days of wandering in the pond to find it.
  10. I think I put mine on backwards also. However, given the lack of visibility they aren't noticeable.
  11. Love the "Eve". It's a functional work of art. I bet she'll love that gift and keep it forever.
  12. The models look great. Welcome to MSW. Do feel free to start a build log for your project. It's great way to get help and meet others.
  13. It's good to expand one's interest. With some research, at some point, you'll probably find your comfort zone and and main interest. Do you have any inclinations as to sail, power, wood or metal hull? Era? Country?
  14. I moved it so should be good to go.
  15. Peter, this isn't a kit is it? At least I've not heard of any kits for this ship. If it's scratch, let me know and I'll move it to the scratch area.
  16. Early on in the Internet there were photo sites, lots and lots of them. People naturally posted links for the photos in their posts. And then, those sites started to disappear or accounts went away because those cost money instead of being free. So here we are..... Most browsers will let you download/save the picture which you can then store and upload as needed.
