Yes, not very crisp moulding detail, hard to cut or sand and don’t take paint all that great

I am hoping to get some of my 3D printed ones dialed in for the general crew

I remember  too  well  trying to  remove their  mould  lines  either  by  blade  or  sand paper  -  no  go,  certainly  can't   detail  them,  I think   your  3D  idea  is  a  Great  one  -  let  me  know  how  things  go  with  that.
