This is my forever project I will post the build sequence up to now. I’ve started the build in 2016. I had to install all radio gear and batteries as far back as possible due to the weight of the scale O.S. 300L engine which weighs almost 6 pounds in order to get the center of gravity right without adding several pounds of unneeded weight to the wing loading.E21739F5-D3F2-42F6-9C89-7913BE74E8FE.thumb.jpeg.4283a5067f28106f2fe75a4b1bad37f8.jpeg1C193441-1839-46FF-BDEB-74C9AF0CB0A0.thumb.jpeg.ff1991a017bd0b1d9c0a0b3a0c45c3f8.jpegEEF77FB1-140F-45B6-B1A2-80819571475F.thumb.jpeg.a8f2cfceb565c83e0e6ff2f200939a2a.jpegD2AACDD8-99F2-4821-A591-77C75D78FD43.thumb.jpeg.0208df0f81c58f4605e533968f1831f1.jpeg0B5AB3CA-C212-4DD5-8BF8-47E96B1DFC55.thumb.jpeg.3224ccbb75c2fb1fb2d9525cacb813d1.jpeg"43D2CA74-080B-4DF9-81A8-945FDFB8A424.thumb.jpeg.cccc6620767cba4aaa6e05c761694dd1.jpegACD45883-BD84-45E0-865C-706D903C3F36.thumb.jpeg.3f8dca6b75ccdb87d1ef07bfcc2376be.jpeg79E78937-C871-4A58-9D61-35AB9DAA43B5.thumb.jpeg.54bd1c7c3fa5b87b1807edf2eac55a7e.jpegB54969F4-C4C6-4977-9C99-20AD4E2FE411.thumb.jpeg.75971eb1ab5d2a0664a8171fce98438e.jpeg5B8C85A9-7DFC-49B9-A145-3B6376B704D2.thumb.jpeg.f471aa40a892a090cc2d4b0cc92cf4f4.jpeg64A63AD6-192A-48DE-B143-E2E69DC6047A.thumb.jpeg.b219ccfd239a0e2c4a393b7cec7a27af.jpeg454009D6-786E-4400-BE3D-1B432EA35E15.thumb.jpeg.0bc94fa42b063ead2f0be241b050176c.jpegD1E633D6-AC59-4738-931F-52F52A1B6597.thumb.jpeg.754aebc4f0db75f49a52a1ca195ea829.jpeg07F30114-29D3-4C49-AA3B-6A9A12999538.thumb.jpeg.297f0d27460d52912931d6a546ddda58.jpeg58CCB8F5-E233-446D-A724-6AC66548CBF6.thumb.jpeg.29ac5eb1dfd79fcb67885715f1188fdc.jpeg4664B865-0666-4221-AA85-D2A0C429507B.thumb.jpeg.6810b87a88df23426f0e42ecfe4d4628.jpeg..0B1DE279-4598-42B1-8330-D3FCD47843E5.thumb.jpeg.9f94491575e31d2f1412da7c3f49237a.jpeg22D34A92-BB52-4B1B-B83F-40B4D9DCE71C.thumb.jpeg.b1051dbf706a3a61e00581e044b5336f.jpeg444153F4-CA5F-44C6-A9B8-E3A6285B7D87.thumb.jpeg.6798a037ee14cd0c6c88e8f553605efa.jpeg05AA4FD6-9C04-41DF-A629-44EE1371276B.thumb.jpeg.d0d5508924662b28048a31d601499b14.jpeg0AD09FD3-27CE-41A0-997C-92099F2DFC89.thumb.jpeg.2d66651080a95f7ba232b437dc5267e6.jpeg

Chris I’m going to do it in civilian colors as a  friend owns the full scale.

Lovely! I have the RAF version in a 1/33 scale card model from Kartonowa Kolekcja -- somewhat smaller than yours and forever Earth-bound.

Mike,

that's an impressive quarter scale model.
Can just imagine the pouring sound from the engine.
