Ok, situation is without significant changes, she seems to be a bit better, Hothead bang his head with rendering in Autocad and his laptop who don't want to listen him, Princess went to town to meet her frends, I went out from office about 19:00, and I decided to finish fore under deck space

post-4738-0-68135000-1432067181_thumb.jpg

Think it looks pretty good. Yes I know, central foredeck pillar is not in axe, but it can be resolved when I jump to the fore deck one of this days

It seems to be a pitty to visualy cover this space with WC, ladders and underdeck entrrance, but it has to be.

Nobody would be able to see a little piggy in pig-pen :(

The ladders will have to go there. Those are visual problems you'll encounter, that can't be fixed if you follow the ship's design Nenad. Some stuff will be hidden. She looks great, and I'm glad your Admiral is feeling better.

Cheers

It's good to  hear the Admiral is feeling a bit better.  As for the piggy.... we all will know he/she is there.

I know that, George. It was fun introducing he/she/it - piggy on stage, even only I and friends from MSW know that. Try to imagine this space covered with all sails and ropes above - ha ha ha - you wouldn`t see even windlas

Thanks George, Mark, Marc for your care about Admiral. Today I have briefing with doctor, some health signs go better, but whole state of her health is still very complex and difficult ... :( . I am deep in work therapy which Dr. Nenad ordered to himself (office, home works, taking care about her mother etc etc) and we just have to wait and to hope, and to believe in doctors

About piggy - I am sure that our friend Bob (rfolsom) will have no problems to find his runnaway pet - he/she/it is here , on my CS safe captured ;):P

Glad to hear about health side of things.

I hope your looking after the piggie ok :-) but Edwards Bowness from his booklet in 1959 seems to think they were chicken coops ‽ :-) can you make one side pigs and the other chickens then at least the crew will be fine at breakfast with eggs and bacon... ;-) take care

I am glad to read that the ladies in your life are getting much better. Hard to focus when our loved ones are not well.

I have seen model railroaders make very small chain by using small wire and then using pliers to make regular groves that look like chain links.

Traincat model sales has 52 links to inch, and 72 links per inch

Bluejacket ship crafters has chain too

She feels better than yesterday, still on deep intensive care. I told her she looks like an alien with all this pipes going into and outside, and she smiled :)

So, I feel much better, and after ride vacum cleaner and hunting some house dust, went down to CS

Wrong axe issue resolved much easier than I hope

What next ?... thinking, hmm, thinking, and it seems logical to do - cats

Measuring ... damn ... only 3,5x3,5 mm 3 cm long... and I like and want all three sheaves on top

What to do ?

I remembered Bob's "laminate" idea, and let's try it

Cut 7 pieces of vener, fit, glue,,sand, play with paint, and here is first testing Cat

So, I have to borrow Harry Poters magic wrand to.make in this scale : cleat, iron horn, "eyebais ror fare tuck ?" And Iron whisker !!!!!

And not to forget - carving !!!

Thank Izzy, that was one of today's options, but my fishing accessories are in chaos since I re-discover ship modeling, and my bench is not, and answer was simple

Here is my fishing/thinking/hiding place on river Sava where I used to dissapear from time to time, about 500m from house (10 min of slow walk). Picture was taken 12 years ago, so forest on another side grows a bit, and my place is still here, unchanged

Genious picture, picked up somewhere on internet

Nice represents state of mind when body rised up, but head still stayed in bed. Kids come home over 00:00, talking untill 01:00, reading book to 02:00, wake up 06:30, if I can call this "wake up"

Just had a thought about your cat heads. As I'm messing around with a similar issue. That of blocks. But if you wanted that little more authenticity. Before attaching the out side pieces if you drilled a hole through where the pulley went then inserted a dowel or metal rod right through. Once you put on the outside pieces then part from the fact that they would either turn all at once or not at all you would have a cathead with pulleys. Hope this makes sense. If not let me know and I'll whip up some photos.
