The only solution I have to this sort of problem is to clear cache and cookies and try a different browser to see if can work. I tried clearing its cache, cookies and site preferences to no avail as Google Search still requires me to log in. I will continue to work it. Joe mtaylor 1 Quote

Each browser is different so you'll need to "settings" on each one. Chrome does has "reset" which seems to do the same thing. At the bottom of many posts, there is a : "On the bench" "Finished" designation. It turned out that editing the profile only changes your profile page, which people have to deliberately go look at.
