That looks like a great book Craig. Haynes have come a long way since my oily 1972 copy for the Ford Escort

Agree 100% This is no doubt a special edition of some sort. Its content is different than any Haynes manual I ever owned, and that's more than a few.

I alo would often go to the public library where I would peruse copies of the Motor's Manuals for specific information on cars I was working on. At that time, I never had heard of Haynes.

Nice find with the manual, at least with the third try, which worked. I had issues with ebay worldwide, when they somehow `lost´ some parts for my 1/1 Jeep, which were not available in Europe at the time.
I ordered this one yesterday, but it´s not very thorough I guess, but will be sufficient for my GTO in 1/24.

Reference / walkaround book: Ferrari 250 GTO (ref. KOM-FG036)

Good references....I also have a 1/24 250 GTO in the stash.

Haynes has a series of those "owners workshop manuals" that are more documentation of historic vehicles rather than their traditional repair manuals.  I bought one for the Ferrari 512 S/M race car when I built one of those.  And they do not just cover cars....I bought one for the Sopwith Camel when I was working on the A/L Sopwith Camel.

Craig, any idea about when you might start on this beauty?   I just happened to notice that one of these kits recently sold in the US on ebay for $1525.

I'm neck deep in 3D resin printing at the moment and haven't contemplated a start date yet.

I often read where modelers will say how expensive these kits are when MFH releases another issue, but then as months go by, the price nearly doubles on the open market. The MFH business model keep their product in short supply and frankly, there is nothing much out there that can match the realism of their kits. My newest acquisition is the 1:12 Ferrari 500F.2, just released in August.
