Hi Patrick

Wonderful work - I wish I could do as well.  Had the procedure yesterday (so far, the results are better than hoped for), and can't wait to get back to work on Paragon - maybe next week some time.

Wow Patrick, There is another fine example of planning and craftsmanship. Any ideas on your next project???  You have to take a picture of it with your last build.  Great job.

                               Happy modeling,

Hi Mike, Piet, Vaddoc, Lawrence, Frank, Nick, Ben, Igor, Cog and Marty

Many, many thanks for all of your feedback and comments and the Likes. Always greatly appreciated!

Marty-not sure about my next project, but, I'm itching to start something. It maybe Bruce King's "Whitefin", or the replica of the Brittania sailing yacht, or maybe even a catamaran with a fully detailed interior.

So many ideas on my wish list...!

Cheers

Patrick

Hi everyone

Another quick, but important update - Symphony's now sporting her full set of sails. Although they're still temporarily rigged, they at least give oneself an indication of what the final look will be....which, to my mind, isn't too bad.

Not long to go, now folks....before Symphony plays her last concerto and a new ship will arise on the slipway! :dancetl6:

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy these photos.

Cheers and all the best!

Patrick

When I opened this post the picture was at the bottom of my screen and all I saw was the masts and sails. I thought it was a picture of a real full sized boat.  The sails look real.  What material are they made from?

Hi Bob and Carl, as well as everyone else who hit the Like button. Many thanks!

Bob and Carl - I really appreciate your comments about the sails.

Bob - I'm not really sure what the material is that the sails are made from, because it was actually supplied by Igor (IgorSky) for my Rainbow model.

Igor - can you please help me with Bob's query?

Cheers

Patrick

Hi everyone

Well, in a few photos of the full sized boat, I've noticed a rigid-hulled-inflatable tender tied up alongside.  So, I had a go at trying to build one.  Here's the result, complete with a teeny tiny outboard motor (albeit a simplified version of one), hanging off its transom.  I still need to add a few more details, such as the steering wheel and the rope grab rails hanging off the sides of the hull.

I hope you like it!

Cheers and thanks

Patrick

Hi Bob, Kevin, Mark and Carl and everyone who hit the Like button

Many thanks for your compliments and comments! They're all greatly appreciated.

Cog-3D printing seems the way of the future now. However, 3D Printing is really beyond my capabilities...I can't even manage 1D printing as my printer is kaput!

Thanks and all the best

Patrick
